“Personally, I stumbled into Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. If I had to credit something that got me into my martial arts training, I would say it would be the individual competition and watching way too much UFC as a teenager.

“My biggest reason that I continue to train is, honestly, this is me. The love I have for my arts and the never-ending path of knowledge is the most addicting thing in the world, and my mama said if you start something, you might as well finish it! Martial arts will take me my whole lifetime to finish, and that's something I love about what I do.

“I started training back in 2011 when I was 15, and I’ve trained with multiple UFC fighters. I’ve won multiple tournament gold medals in Jiu Jitsu, and I’m currently ranked #1 in the state as an amateur in my weight class and #8 in the Midwest.”
